The Storytasty
It began not with a product, but a calling. In 2004, our founder Reinhold Karl Alfred Rath first encountered the power of raw cacao on a journey to California. A year later, with 2kg of fermented beans from Ecuador in his bag and 20,000km of European road ahead of him, the journey truly began — not just through landscapes, but through the layers of body, mind, and spirit. Over time, he discovered what many had forgotten: that cacao, in its unbroken state, is more than food. It is a messenger. A medicine. A mirror. UGOTIT – House of Cacaowe was born from this knowing.
The philosopysweet
We do not ferment, roast, or refine. We do not follow convention. We follow nature. Each sphere is crafted with: Unfermented cacao – full-spectrum, vitamin-rich, alive. Raw honey & medjool dates – sweetness that heals, not harms. Organic coconut butter – a carrier of purity. Edible gold – the alchemical crown, the final blessing. Together, these elements form more than a recipe. They form a ritual. A remembering. A return to the sacred.
